Valentine's Day/President's Day

We had a really good Valentine's. Once again Matt out did me on the gift. We told each other that we were not going to do or get anything for each other, but of course we didn't stick to it. I got an idea to get 7 balloons for each year we have been married and then attach memories of each year to the balloon. Well Matt came up with this ideathese are pictures from the past 7 years and Matt wrote on the back of each picture what he thought of the memory.

Then we got Dre up and showed him where his gift basket was. It was a bunch of Batman and Star Wars things. He picked one thing up at a time and said "OOOOOOOO" he was so excited!



Our day off for President's Day was the best so far. We took Dre bowling for the first time. He only lasted half of a game, but he was so fun to watch. He was so cute. One time we let him roll the ball by himself and it didn't go far, so he ran out onto the slick part and totally fell backwards. It was so sad. He cried for a minute and I think he decided he wasn't a big fan of bowling. Since I had paid for 2 games, but we only got through 1 game I asked if we could be refunded a game and they gave me a card with the extra money on it to play games. So we let Dre go to town playing the games and earning tickets. He earned enough tickets to get 2 swords. Then we ate pizza. It was such a fun day and I loved spending with my little family. I love when we go and do fun little things together.
