Pocatello

My Grandpa G was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's. So, we decided we should go take a quick trip up to see him and see how he was doing. It was so nice to see him and be with him. You can definitely tell that the disease is there and that he is struggling with it. I feel really bad for my mom. It has to be tough to watch your father go through something like this and know there is nothing you can do about it. It was really sad when I asked him a question and he just started rambling. You couldn't understand what he was saying except for a few words here and there. It was like he was speaking a different language. But, it was super cute to see Tessa take a liking to him so fast. Right when we got there Tessa started playing with my grandma and grandpa. She was taking their left over Halloween candy and giving it to them. Friday night when everyone went to bed Jami and I decided to head to the late movie. We met my cousin Cami and saw Footloose. It was a good movie and a lot of fun to be able to make a girls night out of the trip. I'm so glad that we went up there to visit. I love my grandpa and all the fun things I've seen him do. My favorite memories are of him building planes and watching him fly them and listening to him play his guitar.
