Dre and his first sparkler23 MONTHS
One more month and Dre is 2. I can't believe how fast time has gone. It has been so awesome being home this past month. I've seen Dre grow up so much and learn so many new things. He is the sweetest little guy. He is starting to listen better but sometimes I have to put on my stern voice to get him to follow. He is so funny and does the cutest things. I don't even know where to start. He is very careful when climbing things. He takes his time or will ask for help. He is not a daredevil which I'm glad about. When he drives his 4wheeler you have to be right by his side. That is comforting because I know he won't go anywhere without us. He still loves his blanky and "B" (binky) I try to only let him have it at bed but he goes to his room and takes them out of his crib. He is finally able to have sippy cups without straws. He can now tip it up. I know its a little late but he just couldn't figure it out. I still feed him a sippy at night in my arms and he makes me hold it. It's our routine, so whatever will make him sleep. Since summer has begun he goes down at 7:30 and sleeps til 9. I couldn't ask for more:) He is obsessed with Snoop, Blue's Clues, popsicles, squirt bottles, and his cars aka. 4wheeler and pushcar. He is a good little helper. He is starting to copy words you say. He is learning his colors. His favorite song is itsy bitsy spider. (I'm trying to get it on film) He know what the A says. He has so many words, but rarely uses them in public. I don't get it. Our new favorite thing is to talk jibberish to each other. He thinks its pretty funny! He is very good at entertaining himself, but does love it when you will sit down and do things with him. Since I have been cooking more he is eating and trying new things and that makes me happy. He loves to be around other kids and is pretty good at sharing. he loves to wrestle, pretend to play nintendo, and run around like a crazy person. When you ask where his owie is he will show you is hand because of my hand. We love our little boy!
This was funny! I came out from the other room and I saw this. He was laying on the pillow with the covers over him. He was watching the football channel.
It was quiet and I went looking for him. I found him in his room playing with his stuffed animals and reading his books. Precious!!
