21 months

I don't have any new photos of Dre to post right now but I wanted to write about his 21 month stats. Dre is a crazy little boy! He is all over the place and keeps me going from the time I walk in the door from work. I can not wait until school is out so I can spend all my time with him. It's so fun when I come home cause he is all mom for the few hours I get with him. He pulls me around all night to have me play with him. I love it! Although it is hard to get dinner going and house picked up cause he wants my full attention and I don't blame him.

He is loving cars and guns lately. Matt got a bunch of little guns so they chase each other around the house pretending to shoot each other. Dre makes the shooting sound. It's pretty funny. His new phase is "reach...sky" (reach for the sky) as he chases you around the house. Its' been so nice to be outside lately too. He loves it out there. He just runs around on the sidewalk and looks at things.

he is also starting to ask for things to eat instead of just pointing to them

he is starting to get familiar with time out. he is pouting and throwing tantrums all the time now. if something doesn't go right he will just start whining and getting so mad. So now i just say "time out" if he doesn't stop I put him in the corner until he will stop crying. The first few times he wouldn't stay and wanted me to just hold him, but i took him back over and over so now he is pretty good about staying there. I hope it continues to work. It's driving me nuts about his tantrums. they need to stop.

Dre is getting worse and worse at eating. He will only eat a few things and he won't try new things. Matt has to be right there and tell him to eat. I need help on ideas to try. The problem is I don't cook so I feel like he is not getting nutritious food. I'm going to try harder in the summer but I just don't know what to do. I feel like somedays he is starving. It's getting so hard cause he doesn't want anything really and then I get frustrated at him to eat. Any ideas will help.

We love him more and more every day and I just can't wait to be home with him all summer. He is a little stinker sometimes but then can turn around and be the best little cuddler and kisser ever. He is a mama's boy but loves to play with daddy. He is so ticklish and laughs so hard when you tickle him. It's so fun! We love you Dre!!!!!
