I'm officially a mom

No, I'm not pregnant again if that's what you were thinking. An official mom to me is one who has been thrown up on. I've heard a lot of moms say just wait until you are thrown up on. Well, it happened last night. Dre has never thrown up at all so this is a new experience for us. He first threw up at the babysitters yesterday ( all over her carpet). Oops! Butthen he was acting fine the rest of the day. I put him down and he woke up about midnight crying. I went and checked onhim and he was burning up with fever. So I changed his Jammie and brought him into bed with us. Right when I went to lay him down he lost it all over me and my side of the bed. I had to throw my pillow out:(. We let him fall asleep with us but then I put him back in his bed. I can't sleep with him in the bed. He woke up this morning with a fever but has not thrown up again. Probably cause we haven't given him very much to eat. I got a sub last minute and am nowhome with him. He is acting ok right now but we shall see as the day goes on. I hope it is just a 24 hr thing. I'm glad I can finally relate to all you moms out there but not glad that it is at expense of my son

I am so sorry! That does not sound like fun at all! I stopped by the school and didn't see you, but this explains why! Hopefully he feels better soon! :)

Benson once threw up all over the table (and me) at a ward dinner. I gave myself bonus points for that one. Good luck with your little sickie!

It's the greatest thing when they can finally make it to the bathroom on their own. Both Ryan and I have been thrown up on multiple times. The best is when they come to your room in the middle of the night and tell you they have to throw up, then proceed to throw up on you in bed.

It is hard to watch you little one sick. Since I am slow in writing I hope he is all better.
