New Year's Day

We had a great New Year's at the Downs this year. LIke always there is food, fun, and the dreaded games. I say dreaded because every year I bring a game and all the Downs boys plus Kerry (Father in law) start to complain. But as soon as we start playing they all have a great time. Kerry expecially! I think deep down he really likes games but portrays that he doesn't. I didn't take any good pics that night, so on to New Year's Day. Matt's brother had a great idea to go up to MAtt's school and play laser tag when it was dark. It worked out great cause all the little kids just rode around on their scooters in the gym, the sister in laws just chatted (which is so of my most favorite times) and the boys played laser tag around the whole school. It is fun to be together with Matt's side of the family.
