Better late than never (Dre's first B-day)

This is mostly for me to blog about and eventually get a book made of my blog and this is kind of a big deal. These are pictures from Dre's bday party back in August. We had a BBQ in our backyard. It almost had to be moved inside because of the wind but we made it work and eventually the wind stopped. It was just Matt and I's families. We had hamburgers, hotdogs, salads, fruit and veggies, and chips. Each person invited was suppose to wear a sports shirt or jersey which turned out super cute. Lance made the invite, but it was my idea (thanks to the internet)

The decorations would have looked really good if the wind had not blown them all around. We had balloons showing where people come and balls all over the backyard but they ended up along the fence. We had our BBQ, opened presents, and then watched him go at it with the cake. He was in heaven cause I don't let him have a lot of sugar. We payed for it later that night because he did not go to bed until 2. I think it was a combo of the sugar and the stimulation of all the people. Dre loved it though and we are grateful for all the presents and family who came. Dre won't remember it at all the pictures will show him how wonderful it was. The reason it has taken me so long is I asked my sister in law to take pictures with her awesome camera and we haven't been able to meet up and get the disc until now. Thanks Melissa!!
