14 Months

This month seem to fly. I have been so busy with school and things that I feel like I'm never able to breath. Being a working mom is hard and I feel like sometimes I'm not being the best mom to Dre. The next two nights are not going to help either because I have parent teacher conferences and I won't see Dre tonight or tomorrow because he goes to bed at 7 and I won't get home til 8. He is going to think I abandoned him. He is so much fun right now. He is walking and exploring everything now. He loves to just walk around the house and look at things (and grab too). We have a few bucket of toys that he grabs each toy looks at it and puts it down and grabs another. Some other facts about Dre at 14 months:

he is obsessed with Elmo. We bought a video of Elmo and he will watch the entire 50 min movie without moving.
he loves books especially Elmo books. He will bring you a book and want you to read it. Then he will act surprised over every page.
he is obsessed with his dad. I love watching the 2 of them play. It is so fun. Matt makes him laugh so hard and it's the cutest sound ever. They are into sword fighting right now and they chase each other around the house. I love the way Dre looks at his dad, like he is the coolest guy ever.
he still loves Snoop. They play chase to and they are so funny. They also cuddle and it's so sweet!
he is a very picky eater and I feel like a bad parent cause I give him whatever he wants just so he will eat. Not a ton of healthy things which is sad, but at least he will eat

the one thing that is driving me crazy about my cute boy is his tantrums. He is already got a mind of his own. When he wants something he gets so mad if you try and take it away. For instance, right now he is really into pushing our stroller. The problem is is gets caught on everything and he starts to cry. So I will push it along with him. Well, I get sick of that and try to put the stroller up and he will completely freak out and lay on the ground and bawl. I have tried a little time out but he doesn't get that so we have just been ignoring for now and distracting him. But even with all that he is the sweetest best thing that has ever happened to us and we love him to death.
