Update on my hand

I went to the doctor this morning to check on my hand. They took the splint off and checked to make sure I could move all my fingers. My hand is very bruised and swollen, but luckily I had no nerve or tendon damage. The doctor said that I was very lucky and must have been doing something right to not have it do more damage. He pointed out where tendons and nerves were and they went right across my cut. I don't have to where the splint anymore and I need to start moving my fingers more so that the cut heals properly. It still hurts when I bend my fingers and put pressure on it. I have to wear the stitches for 2 weeks. It has been so hard not being able to use my hand. You forget how important things are until they are taken away. It was nice to have Matt around so that he could do everything. I'm so glad I'm not in school. I wouldn't be able to write or do anything. here are a couple pictures I took at the hospital. These do no justice but you get the idea.
