15 Months

It was very quiet so I went around looking for Dre and he had found my decorative CHAPTER BOOKS and was looking through them
Dre saw the escalator at the mall and wanted to go for a ride. Matt was a good dad and took him up and down!

Can I just say that I love being a parent especially to the sweetest, cutest, funniest little boy ever. Dre is so much fun right now. He is so smart. He is in a cuddly stage right now and I can't get enough. We love watching him move around the house and always wonder what is going through his mind.

Things Dre is doing right now:
*cuddle-when he sees MAtt and I cuddle he has to join in.
*he still takes a bottle and it has to be warm milk. Also, he will not hold his bottle, but that is ok with me because every morning and night I get cuddle time where we just get to relax together and I get to hold him
*running, walking backward, and spinning around getting dizzy. He laughs hysterically when he gets dizzy and I stop him.
*makes a basket in his hoop then claps for himself and runs to give us high fives
*watches Elmo just sitting in his chair (above pics)
*loves books-he will bring you a book and expect you to read it to him. He has a lot of the touch and feel and right now he is into giving the touchy things kisses.
*gives the best kisses- you can tell him to kiss someone and he will
*understands almost everything you say and will do it- like food, he will go to his high chair, bath he will go to the tub.
*when you say where is your eyes he will blink over and over
*where's your muscles he will flex and make a grunting face
*knows belly button and head
*words: hot, meow, roar, mom, dad, snoop, treat, letter D (these are all on occasion not repeated except for hot). I would say his first real word is hot cause he says it all the time. It's more like (ah)
*the one and only problem with this child is feeding time and food. It is mostly my problem. I run out of things to feed him and I never know if he is full. When I try something new he usually doesn't like it and that is because it is veggies. I still give him baby food veggies because I don't know what else to try. The babysitter is really good at making him eat so I usually send the veggies with her.
*one nap (at the babysitters for 1-2hrs)
*sleeps from 7-7 everyday and on the weekends he will sleep in with us until 8 usually. Like I said he is the best thing in the world letting us sleep in:)
*chases Snoop around all the time but then at other times will cuddle with him
*loves the big trucks across the street (they are building a house)
*loves driving his cars on the tile and pushing his animals across it too!

I go to the doc on Wed to get an update on his stats so I will post those then. All I can say is we love our little boy more than anything in the world and we couldn't be more happy right now as a family. I love my boys!!!

Brooke - I started out making my digi scrap pages using a program called, "Memory Mixer" version 3. It's made by Lasting Impressions. it's super user friendly. You just make the page and then export it as a Jpeg. You then upload it to the blog like a picture. I just make mine really big so you can see the pics better. I now use Adobe Photoshop Elements to make my pages. It's a lot trickier, but you can do lots more with it. Let me know if you have any other q's. If you're on FB, add me as a friend. I have tons of links and stuff on there that I can send to you.
