The 4th Weekend

We had a great 4th of July. Matt was able to get off early on both THursday and Friday and had Monday off. We went to the Lindon pool on Thursday and Friday. It was so fun to watch Dre in the water. He wasn't sure at first then he started to crawl around and splash. They have a lazy river, so we put him in this tube and he just floats around. There are two parts where water falls down and he does not like that. He cries for a few seconds after then he is fine. We really liked that pool so we will be back plenty more this summer I'm sure.



Then on Monday we went to Matt's brother's house for our annual BBQ. It's so fun when we all get together. I love spending time with his family. The sister in laws are more like sisters, I swear. We all get along so well and have the best time talking and laughing. It's fun to watch all of Matt's brothers together too!All the Downs cousins except Casen

Dre and Brody are a little over a year apart. Hopefully this is the beginning of a great friendship

Also one of the nights Matt and I got out our fire pit and had a nice quiet night next to our fire. It was so nice to just relax.

Last but not least this is our newest purchase. It completes our family room perfect. Now I just need to decorate it. It's hard to know what and how to so any suggestions would be great!
