2 months

Today is a bittersweet day. Dre is 2 months old today, but I had to come to work for the first day. It is actually easier than I thought it would be. I cried yesterday, but today I was fine. I think it is mostly because I've been so busy with school. It is so hard getting back into the swing of things and getting caught up. I called the sitter a couple of times and he had mostly been sleeping so that made me feel better because he is not missing me when he is asleep. He did good and didn't fuss. I'm glad we got the colic thing figured out. It ended up being the bottle. I now use the drop in bags and push all the air out and he has not had a tummy ache since. It's great! Some things about Dre at 2 months: he loves to smile and all you have to do is look at him and say something, he is talking and it sounds so cute, he loves to blow bubbles, he is starting to play with his play mat and hit the objects, he still loves to cuddle and I just love holding him when he is asleep!

We went for his 2 month appt. yesterday and he weighed 11 lbs 8.5 oz. He was in the 44%. He was 24 in long which put him in the 88% He is tall and skinny! He did great with the shots too. I thought he would be miserable today and I was feeling bad that I couldn't be with him today but he was fine. Her are the latest pics!


Also our yard is complete! Yay!!!!!! I will post pics soon. I have a before and after. It's so nice to be done and not have that stress anymore. Here is to a few more days of school and then I will get a break to be with my baby again!!!!!!
