Vote 08...confused
So I have never been into politics and have never really cared about who is president. I know my vote this year won't really matter either because I live in Utah but I have been watching the conventions. Last week I watched Obama speak and was taken back by it. That was the first time I have ever listened to him and I thought his speech was amazing! Then last night I listened to Fred Thompson speak about McCain and I thought his speech was good too. So now I'm kind of confused. I don't know who I am going to vote for. My question is does anybody know where I can get an article that will tell me each person stand on each particular subject. I don't want it to be a long read, but I'm just thinking that I can't base my vote on a speech. Anyways this is my just thinking...

I am right there with you! If you find out where an article is let me know so I can become less confused, too:) Love the new background.
Brooke, usually CNN.com will have a break down, and also a questionairre you can fill out and it will tell you who you match up with best. But if you want my opinion, Obama is the man.
I have been waiting for you to actually care and for us to be able to stop calling you a communist.
OK... don't really know that there is some short article answer to this question. I like Obama the person, but don't agree with most of his politics. I don't like McCain the person, but line up with more of his policies. This is the problem I think a lot of people are having. RealPolitics.com or politico.com are what Paul reads. The major newspaper websites (Washington Post, NY Times, LA Times, etc.) may give you some more info. I am going to have to wait until the debates start to see them head to head. Good luck!
I really like your new background! You are too cute. Let me know if you find anything. I have been watching and listening as well. Its good to be informed huh? :)
Brooke that is so awesome! I really hope you do end up voting for Obama. But you have to make your own educated decision... on the issues that matter to you.
