I'm a math magician
For the next couple of weeks I'm teaching my students basic numbers. A couple of the teachers and I went to a class and they had this wonderful idea to make it magic. We got the get up and everything. All you do is have a student pick a card, say a few magic words and tada! you pull that many objects out of the hat. My students are so cute and believe everything they see and hear. I love teaching 1st grade.

What a great idea! I wish you could have Margot. I saw Rachel Smith at Katie's wedding and she is really hoping that her daughter Sadie gets you next year. Her son LOVED you!

That is such a cute idea. I bet your kids are eating it up. Reading your post made me really sad, I acutally wanted to be there teaching with you. I miss it. It looks like you are having fun. I hope you have good kids this year.
What a geek you are-- reminds me of when I dressed up like George Washington for a constitution lesson-- could we be sisters or what?
I remember first grade, and my first grade teacher was one of my favorite teachers ever!!! Your kids will obviously have the same memory I do! Your adorable Brooke!
All I can say is if you ever end up with a Watts for a teacher class will not be boring!
