Week 3 of summer started off great. On Monday Dre and I went for a run and then ended up at my dad's golf course. My dad has a small golf club so we took Dre to the putting green and let him hit some balls.
The next few days were not to exciting. Then On Thursday Dre and I headed over to one of my elementary school friends Holly. We met Danielle there and had lunch and just visited while our kids played. It's so nice that we have stayed in contact with each other and pick up right where we left off.
Then Friday morning on my run this is what I saw
that's right the Saratoga Springs dump fire. It was right behind our house. We actually ended up getting evacuated. Matt decided not to leave but Dre and I took off to my parents house. Dre had a blast with Grandpa!
Now this week we are in St. George so that will be a fun post next week!
