Christmas 2011

Christmas just gets better every year especially with Dre. He really started to get the idea of Santa. HE was able to see 4 Santa's this year and he was not afraid at all. He saw one at Walmart, Cabela's, the mall, and the Downs' Christmas party. He really liked that Santa gave him a treat each time he saw him. The Thursday before Christmas we went to the Downs' Christmas party. We ate, talked, had a visit from Santa, and did the nativity. Dre was old enough to participate this year and he was a crack up. He was in the choir and was just suppose to stand there. He decided that was boring, so he ran around the stage with his arms in the air like he was flying. It was suppose to be serious, so it was hard not to laugh. All the other kids just stood there.

Christmas Eve we stopped by both families houses and just ate and visited. New Christmas jammies. We invited my parents over for Christmas morning, so they got here and we woke Dre up. He walked in and ran to his Batman race track and was like ohhhhhh! He sat right down and started controlling it. We kept showing him what Santa gave him and every time he was like ohhhhhh! He opened a few presents then got sick of it because he wanted to play with the toys he already opened.

He got so much stuff. Matt and I got new iphones. Matt got a new popcorn maker and a XBOX 360 Kinect. I got thisfrom my parents. I love it! My pictures are so much better and I won't miss out on special moments just because of my camera.

We went over to my parents house on Christmas morning for breakfast and more presents.

Tyler got the T-Pain microphone and Dre thought that it sounded cool. Dre got a Vtech camera from my parents and he was going around saying "smile" He also got an outfit, Ute pillow pet, and legos.

Then we headed over to the Downs' for of course more presents. Matt's parents got Dre a Mater remote control car, scooter, and a doctor kit. Dre loves to make you feel "better" as he puts things in your ears to check. It was a great gift.

That night Matt's parents came over to see what we all got. Of course we had to get a pic with grandma and grandma.
