The Bean Museum

On Saturday, I woke up and asked Matt what he wanted to do and he said we are going to the Bean Museum. At first I though he was joking and kept saying ok really what do you want to do. I didn't even know he knew anything about it. I definitely hadn't been there before and hadn't heard that name for a long time. I didn't even know what they had there, but I was all about something free to do. When we first got there Dre was a little bit scared of the tiger. But, after a minute he was all about the animals and was running around going oooh, ahhhh! and pointing at everything he saw. It was so nice because we just let him run around and he loved it. It was a great idea and I'm so glad we went. I'm sure it will not be the last time either.

I took my kids there all the time when I was at home and they were little. It was our favourite place because it was free and you didn't have to be quiet. We usually went for a cheap ice-cream at the creamery after. They have grown out of it and it makes me sad. BYU actually has a lot of secret places that are fun and free for kids. The science building has some interactive exhibits. There is another one, maybe the biology building that has some weird fish/bird stuffed things in the basement.

Sounds like a blast. I used to love going there when I went to BYU. It wasn't a quiet place but it had a lot of cool stuff. I am glad you guys enjoyed it so much! :)
