Easter Weekend/Spring Break/8 months

This is going to be a long post probably. I don't really have access to the internet when I'm home so I have to wait until I'm at school to post. It was so nice to have spring break mixed in with Easter this year. It was so nice to be home for a whole week and be with my baby. We had such a great time! We were also able to get a lot of things done with our house. We bought some things to go on the walls finally and we worked on our front yard. I will post pictures when it's all done, but it looks really good already. Spring break weekend started with a friends wedding. My friend from school Mary got married and we had to snap a pic of all the girls from school. We are the fearsome four. We get along so well and have a great time teaching and talking together.

EASTER
Easter was a lot of fun this year! I think all holidays will be more fun with kids. We woke up on Sunday and had Dre find his basket and he had fun looking at all the new toys he got. He especially loved the plastic easter eggs(not filled with anything) After listening to some conference we went over to both our parents to visit.

DRE'S FIRST HAIRCUT
We decided it was time for a haircut. It was getting out of control. Matt wanted to shave it and I wasn't quite ready for that. so we went with a number 2 all over his head. It looks so much better, but not to different. At first he was okay, but he got really curious about the razor. After a few minutes he was done. I had to give him my camera case to keep him occupied. Here are some pictures of the before/during/after

DRE IS 8 MONTHS
Dre turned 8 months on the 6th. He has learned a lot of new things it seems this past month. I'm going to write 8 things that are new with Dre
1. crawling (not on all fours, in fact it is a very strange crawl, but it gets him where he needs to be and he's quick)
2. loves the remote
3. loves to be upside down and make silly faces
4. cries when someone leaves the room, but still puts himself to bed and still sleeps through the night 12+ hrs.
5. eating stage 3 foods and a few finger foods (this scares me, but I know he needs it)
6. still loves the johnny jumper and goes crazy swinging
7. loves to be outside but not a big fan of the grass
8. close to breaking through his first tooth, so he sucks his lips. Makes the cutest sounds with his mouth
You thought I could actually stop at 8 well there is just to much about this little guy that I want to say
9. loves to watch Snoop and always tries to get his toys
10. loves watching Yo Gabba Gabba and gets the biggest smile when we turn it on. Then he will just start to dance
11. has to have something in his hands when you change his diaper or he will wiggle all around
12. has become the biggest momma's boy. Just this morning Matt had him and he started bawling and leaning for me until I took him. Is is bad that I secretly love that he does this???

I love this guy so much it's crazy. I don't know what I would do without him. He is the happiest, easiest baby in the world. I'm so lucky to be his mom forever.
