Busy, Busy, Busy

Seriously this has been one of the busiest weeks I've had in a long time. Coming back to school is always busy cause you always leave things to enjoy your holiday, but then you have to come back to it. Grades are due tomorrow and I'm not even done testing. We are retesting on some things to make sure our kids are in the right place for them. I'm leaving for Disneyland on Monday and have not even started on writing 4 days of lesson plans. And I was so busy yesterday that I didn't post about Dre at 5 months so here goes.

*He changed so much while I was home for 2 weeks. I swear he leaned something new everyday.
*He got a little cold for the first time and was coughing. I guess he liked the sound or something because now he fake coughs all the time. That is how he wakes us up from naps.
*He makes new sounds with his voice and screams.
*I put him down awake now and he has to pull the blanket up over his face, so as soon as I don't hear him anymore I go pull it off. (this really is scary but its his comfort thing)
*loves to eat his rice
*loves to watch Snoop
*drooling a ton
*wants his binky more often (I think he likes it on his gums)
*loves his saucer ( he got it for Christmas)
*loves Yo Gabba Gabba
*loves to sit up (can't do it by himself yet)
*gives kisses (more like suck my face)
*plays with my hair especially when he is tired
*laughs a ton and its sooooooo cute!
*makes a silly face when he wants something

One sad note is that on Monday after I got home from work I could tell he missed me so much. It made me cry! Since he got used to seeing me for 2 weeks I think he missed me. He would not let me put him down and would just sit and hold me. Matt said that he would not want anything while he was home with him and as soon as he saw me he was so happy the rest of the night. It totally breaks my heart.

I had to post all three pics cause this is how picture time is starting to go. He is so much more alert and wants to sit up. He is so funny!
