October Fun

So this past weekend was Fall Break. We had a good one! I didn't get anything done other then spend time with my family and I think that is just as important as getting things done. Thursday we were just sitting at our house, so I decided to take Dre to the park by our house. He loved the swing and walking around the playset. But when I would go to take hime down the slide he wasn't to happy. I think it was because he wanted to stay on the playset. Once he went down the slide he loved it.

On Friday, we went up through AF Canyon to look at the leaves, throw rocks into the lake, and have a picnic. Dre loved throwing rocks so much that on Saturday morning we ran down to the marina by our house to let him throw more rocks. Now he will tell us he wants to go to the water and throw rocks.




Last night was our 2nd annual pumpkin carving family night at my sister Jami's house. We had chilli and scones and the ncarved our pumpkins. Dre and I carved a stormtrooper from Star Wars (yes my little guy is into Stars Wars now...wonder who he got that from) It turned out pretty good! I'm pretty proud of myself because I did it all by myself! I've never done that before. It was just fun to get together with my family!
